Since 1997 LilacSounds Productions has produced several compact
disc recordings, and hosted many highly successful and unique multimedia
live performances and concerts. As we move into a new century, we
adapt and diversify our goals and services, using a wide range of
technologies, and are able to draw from a rich talent pool of various
creative disciplines.
Our company is comprised of dedicated, highly-skilled and creatively
versatile individuals whose goals are: (i) to provide Live Arts Performance
Productions of high quality to suit your events; (ii) to organize
and manage your special occasions; and (iii) to capture, enhance
and preserve your memorable moments, through digital audio and video
engineering.
Newly incorporated in 2003, LilacSounds started
out as a sole proprietorship company in June 1997. Its main purpose
was to generate funds for
recording projects and concert events. Encantada (1998), an album
of songs and arias in Spanish, French, German, Italian and Filipino,
with original jazz-influenced songs in English, was the first release;
after which came Labing Dalawa, an album of classical Filipino love
songs, featuring internationally acclaimed concert pianist Raul Sunico.
Most recently, LilacSounds released Exultate (2001), an album of
spiritual music throughout the ages. For each of the three recordings,
CD launch concerts have also been produced – all unique, sold-out
events featuring the musicians and artists involved on each album,
in different Toronto venues.

consists of
Lilac Caña,
Artistic Director
and
Jove Caña, Director of Technology.
