production company based in Toronto, Canada, focused on bringing music and art
to enrich the special events of your life.
Founded in 1997 by Lilac Caña, a classically trained singer, performer, writer, producer,
and ongoing lover of life, LilacSounds Productions takes a giant leap
into the 21st Century, while firmly grounded in Filipino-Canadian
sensibility, and through the artistic expressions of several media –
opera, dance, film, visual arts, theatre, and the written word.
Lilac Cana is a classically trained singer and recording artist who performs in opera and theatrical stage. She has performed with the Philippine Philharmonic and the Canadian Opera Company. Versatile and sensitive, Lilac writes her own music and excels in expressive performances from Baroque arias to jazz.
