ACROSS THE PACIFIC  Composed, written, and produced by Solon Reyes, Across the Pacific is a drama set to music, and was premiered at Mississauga’s Living Arts Centre theatre on November, 2000. A story about the migrant experience, of cultures interweaving, and the human need both to explore as well as to return home, this production incorporates upbeat Broadway musical-style numbers, alongside traditional Filipino folk dances and variations on indigenous musical traditions.
