W.R.P.M. DISTRIBUTION WOMEN’S MUSIC SAMPLER
W.R.P.M. (Womyn’s Revolutions Per
Minute) is Canada’s only
non-profit, women-centered music distributor and supports the advancement
and rights of women through a focus on cultural expression and social
change. WRPM carries over 80 specialized music artists and CD titles, and
distributes them nationally to HMV, Chapters, Indigo, and other retail
outlets across the country. For the first time in WRPM’s ten-year history,
this “best of” compilation CD by WRPM-distributed artists, makes its way to
libraries, head offices of retail stores, women’s centers, media contacts
and other promotional venues. This recording is not for sale, and was made
possible through the generous financial assistance of the Canada Music Fund
and the Music Section of the Canada Council for the Arts. Lilac Caña
